Estimator – Commercial new build
A position has arisen for an Estimator to work for a growing commercial contractor, operating across commercial new build & refurbishment in government, education, industrial, health, and retail sectors. Established for over 25 years, with a turnover of $100M our client has experienced consistent steady growth. Well renowned they have earned a strong reputation in both the commercial new build & refurbishment sectors up to 50M.
- Working as part of a team of 5 and reporting into the Estimating Manager pricing jobs across both commercial new build & refurbishment.
- Management of the end-to-end tender process for lump sum & design & construct projects under your control
- Engage with clients and attend meetings
- Review and prepare EOI's and submissions
- Liaising with other departments, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure deadlines are met
- Preparing bills of quantities, quotations, and scope of works
- Management of multiple tenders
- Review Subcontractor, Supplier and Consultants performance
- Working with the marketing team and bid coordinator
- Keep track of and regularly update CRM Systems
Requirements:
- Proven track record in Estimating within commercial construction in Australia
- The ability to work autonomously
- Be client facing - strong presentation and communication skills
- Construction Management or a relevant industry degree
- Strong system skills - Experience with Cubit Advantageous
- Strong Team player
