Events Coordinator
A position has been created for Events Coordinator to work for one of Australia's leading building contractors specialising in interior design and fit out.
In this role, you will play an integral position in coordinating marketing events to support the company's growth strategies and to create brand experiences worth remembering. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys a fast-paced varied position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Brand Manager and Managing Director to create memorable Brand experiences
- Coordinating a broad range of client events including; sponsoring Golf Days, Sporting Events, Breakfast Events, Charity Events, Property/Construction industry Events and annual client parties.
- Coordinating and planning events to promote staff retention and create a positive working culture including social activities, Office Parties, Melbourne Cup and Christmas parties.
- Strategic input to events.
- Creating exciting new memorable experiences.
- Logistic management.
- Budget management & proposals.
- Communicating with various external stakeholders.
- Coordinating RSVP's, Run Sheets, post event debrief and evaluation/analysis.
- Management of marketing material.
- Updating Sales Force CRM system.
Requirements:
- Marketing degree and a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in Events is preferred
- Excellent project and event management skills
- Strong organisational skills and experience in working to strict deadlines
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast pace position and working environment
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in the Property or Construction industry would be highly favourable
- CRM database experience ideally Sales Force
- Confidence in liaising and articulating advice/ideas with a range of stakeholders
