Responsibilities
- Developing and evaluating individualised resident care plans
- Providing clinical services such as wound management, medication management and palliative care
- Liaising with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members
- Assisting the clinical management team with ACFI documentation/assessments
- Supervising and supporting our Personal Care Workers.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- At least 1 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse – preferably in Aged Care but not essential
- Solid communication skills that enables you to speak in a manner that older people can understand, as well as the ability to read written instructions and to write clearly and concisely particularly in progress notes
- Exceptional time management skills to manage own workload to meet deadlines and to support other staff
- High level understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia including those who display challenging behaviours
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
- Australian Police Check
